Directors who wish to participate in OMIA’s Convocation must complete the required courses by December of the prior year.
As of April 1st, 2023, the Directors Certificate will consist of 16 mandatory courses. Completion of all 16 courses earns an overall “OMIA Certification Program – Directors Certificate”. Directors enrolled in the current program structure (prior to April 1st, 2023) will continue until they have completed the program.
*Please note as of April 1st, 2023, OMIA will not accept course equivalencies in either program structure.
OMIA is also pleased to introduce a “Beyond Certification” category. To maintain the OMIA Directors Certificate, there will be a requirement to complete at least 2 courses per year from the “Beyond Certification” category (please check with your Member Company as this requirement may involve a higher number of courses).
